Weekend Moon Music

This morning we had 6 hours of a partial lunar eclipse, the longest eclipse of its kind in 580 years.  Tonight, we have a full "beaver moon", named for the time beaver traps are set or when beavers are preparing for winter.   Earlier this week, it just happened we were listening to Neil Young's beautiful "Harvest Moon" as covered by Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange), and so it just clicked what our weekend song would be.  Hope you enjoy.

Mid-Week Song: New Star

The Chapel Hill, NC - originating contemporary folk / Americana duo Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange), consisting of married couple Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz, has performed together for about 10 years. Their new album, the eponymous "Watchhouse", reached number one on the Billboard bluegrass albums chart last month. Our song today, "New Star," is a track from that new album.
