Shocking! Birther Movement Birther Trump Has Some More Lies (UPDATED)

Neo- fascist racist and King of Birthers Donald "Rump" Trump has spent years denying President Obama was born in the United States. Now, facing pressure, the weaselheaded f*cknugget is claiming he "ended" the controversy that never was one, and is once again trying to falsely blame Hillary Clinton:

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Friday falsely accused his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton of starting the so-called birther movement ― and claimed that it was he who ended the controversy by getting President Barack Obama to release his birth certificate. 

That’s a lie. Even after Obama released his long-form birth certificate in 2011, Trump continued to question whether the president was born in the U.S. 

The issue has been central to Trump’s rise as a politician and has served as a racist dog whistle to attack Obama.

The Clinton campaign (via HuffPo) has the facts and the timeline here for anyone interested in seeing what a pathological liar Rump is. (A firm statement by President Obama on who exactly started this nonsense would be appreciated, too.)

Rump has been reluctant to acknowledge the fact of the President''s birthplace because he knows his shit- headed, deplorable base (from late June/ early July 2016):

According to a new NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll, seventy-two percent of registered Republicans “still doubt” the President’s place of birth. Forty-one percent outright disagreed with the statement, “Barack Obama was born in the United States,” while only twenty-seven percent of Republicans agree.

The dogs reacted to the whistle, all right.

UPDATE:  The other aspect of this farce is how, once again, the dumbass media (cable news) got played by Rump.  Some of them are rather unhappy at this completely unforeseen turn of events.  Meanwhile, what Greg Sargent said:

If there's any question by now that there's a strong undercurrent of racism in the birther smears, the "unqualified black man uses affirmative action" canard that Rump Trump is trotting out over Obama's college records should answer that question.
