Trump's Brain Damage Climaxes, And More

Steven Colbert covers the Republican Supreme Court's decision on the Malignant Loser's ballot eligibility, the Malignant Loser's reaction to hearing "Russia" and "Putin," the increasing evidence of the Malignant Loser's brain damage (reading a few lines as from a children's book -- chef's kiss), the felon's take on the Georgia trial prosecutors, his brain- damaged supporters, the use of AI to make the Malignant Loser look like a friend to Black Americans, and the Malignant Loser's drug- infested White House.  Good summary of issues the corporate media are trying their best to ignore.

Creeping McConnell, Creepy Trump, And Turd Dogs

Steven Colbert covers recent events not involving the latest Republican Supreme Court ruling abomination:  "Moscow Mitch" McConnell's giving up leadership of Senate Republicans, Michigan primary results, MAGA Mike Johnson's House Trump-Putin caucus, a former Australian PM's view of Trump, and the imploding impeachment farce involving Russian intelligence services feeding willing Republican dupes and useful idiots as the media focuses elsewhere.  Good, as usual.

Out Of Control And Out Of Time

Republican National Circus -- It's A Crap, Er, Wrap

Once again, Stephen Colbert, like us, didn't watch the final night of the Republican National Convention Circus.  But that didn't stop him from a perfect summation of the night and of the entire four day shitshow.  Some 1,000 MAGA morons packed the south lawn of the White (Supremacist) House not observing social distancing or wearing masks in this latest COVID-19 super spreader event (sadly, Herman Cain couldn't attend because, well, you know). As Colbert said, "I know the Republicans like voter suppression, I didn't know they kicked it up to voter extinction."  Better them than us. (Bonus: wait for the very end when guest Chris "Krispycreme" Christie shows up briefly on the screen looking more and more like a Smithfield ham):

For those interested, CNN's Trump lie detector Daniel Dale points out a few droplets from the 70- minute droning fire hose of lies, starting off with the factual observation that COVID Donnie "is a serial liar":

Vids Of The Day

Nurses and health professionals tell narcissistic dolt Donald "I Don't Take Responsibility At All" Trump what to do (spoiler alert:  he's incapable):

Steven Colbert has fun with the narcissist's unprecedented insistence on having his name on the stimulus checks being mailed out:

Trump's Excellent India Adventure (UPDATED)

Steven Colbert discusses the visit of our national disgrace, Donald "Impeached Forever" Trump, to India, where he is being feted played by much smarter Trump knockoff Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of (Hindu) India.  Fortunately, much of the U.S. was spared prime time future campaign footage of the 36- hour visit, thanks to the Weinstein conviction, the stock market meltdown and the Kobe Bryant memorial, which sucked out all the media oxygen. But, India, if you truly like him so much, please feel free to keep him over there indefinitely. (Stick around for the Zamboni guy!)

UPDATE:  Here's a small taste of the ugly stuff that Modi and Trump would rather you not see:

"Is Breaking The Law Illegal?"

Steven Colbert covers the first day of the impeachment trial of nitwit crime boss Donald "I Did It, So What?!" Trump and Trump's cast of "ridiculous, outrageous" characters:

In response to Trump "TV lawyer" Jay Sekulow's question "why are we here?", Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) gave a precise and impassioned response:

Trump At U.N.: "They Do Not Like Him Anywhere"

Our National Embarrassment and Public Enemy #1 Donald "Rump" Trump was at the United Nations yesterday and today, comparing unfavorably with the appearance of teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg. Steven Colbert had some fun with the visit, including a Seussian riff on how nobody likes him ("They do not like him anywhere. They do not like the Orange Man. They miss the guy who said "Yes, I Can.").

Tweeting Up A Storm

Steven Colbert administered a Category 5 rogering to moron meteorologist Donald "Windsock" Trump last night, noting that, "Once again, all weather models show 100% likelihood that the path of your head goes straight where the sun don’t shine."

Meanwhile, Hurricane Dorian continues to spread destruction along its path as our cosmically unfit "president" tweets on.

"Commit To Beating Republicans"

A great monologue by Steven Colbert discussing the recent gun violence, the asswipe in the White (Supremacist) House and his enablers in the rotted- out Republican Party and media.  (We endorse Colbert's giant pork sausage/ gun trade- in for the reasons expressed, btw.)

We also want to endorse former Florida Republican Rep. David Jolly's advice to voters:

"Commit to beating Republicans. Beat 'em.  Beat every single one of them. Even the safe ones in the House.  Beat 'em.  Beat 'em in the Senate. Take back the Senate."

That sounds right.

Trump Hops Across The Pond, Takes Swamp With Him

Stephen Colbert takes a hilarious look at the visit to the U.K. by our national disgrace Donald "Bone Spurs" Trump (brief highlights: the impression of Treasury Secretary Steve "Moochin'" Mnuchin and the Trump/ Meghan Markle reality show title):

There was also this moment where the Duchess of Cornwall provides a stiff upper lip aside to the audience:

More takes here.

BONUS:  Low- energy, Sleepy Donald Trump nods off during Queen's banquet speech --

Maybe if he lost some bigly weight, he'd have more energy:

The Queen seems worried he might mistake her for an appetizer. Stephen King notes the girth of the goof:
