Now that former Bushit "brain" Karl "Turdblossom" Rove is on the loose with a fictional book about Dumbya's Presidency, he's being interviewed here and there, mostly by actors-playing-journalists who can't seem to ask tough questions. But, thanks to the BBC, Turdblossom was asked uncomfortable questions about the use of waterboarding. Turdblossom's response:
"I'm proud that we used techniques that broke the will of these terrorists and gave us valuable information that allowed us to foil plots. . ."Except, of course, that the Pentagon and CIA say that very little was accomplished by torturing suspected terrorists, and indeed a number of false leads obtained under torture caused wasted time and resources. Worse still, the Bushit Assministration acknowledged in an official memo in 2005 that waterboarding was a form of torture, a violation of the Geneva Convention.
But, since Turdblossom doesn't have a problem with torture, we should waterboard him at each of his appearances to prove to the rest of us that waterboarding ain't no big deal.
