QOTD -- Fail!

“This Order addresses President Donald J. Trump’s second attempt to plead that Defendants … acted with actual malice when they published an article in the Wall Street Journal ('WSJ') linking him to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein ('Epstein') ...  As with his first attempt, he has failed.” -- U.S. District Judge Darrin P. Gayles, Southern District of Florida, dismissing a lawsuit filed by Jeffrey Epstein's best friend and fellow rapist Malignant Fascist against the Wall Street Journal, et al. (pdf).   The MF was suing over reporting on the MF's salacious birthday card and suggestive drawing for Epstein (click to enlarge):

The case was dismissed with prejudice.

Very Abbreviated List: Trump Crime Family Corruption

LGM's Paul Campos has given us "merely a list of a few highlights" of corruption by the Trump Crime Family just in the past 2 years.  This is merely a taste of what Campos compiled:

*Trump founded a cryptocurrency firm at the same moment he was deregulating the entire crypto industry.  He then bought a separate firm that he used to buy his own cryptocurrency, while at the same time raising nearly one billion dollars from investors to buy that very same cryptocurrency.

*He launched a meme coin, aka, a lightly tarted up Ponzi scheme, that netted him hundreds of millions of dollars, even as the coin lost 97% of its value.   Mandatory financial disclosures revealed eventually that investors had collectively lost $3.8 billion on this scheme, while Trump himself had netted $636 million, since he made money on every transaction, whether the value of the coin went up or down.

*Relatedly, he received the benefit of enormous crypto “investments” from foreign nationals, that were often barely disguised bribes.  He pardoned one of these investors, Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, wiping out a serious criminal conviction.  Prior to Trump issuing this pardon, Binance had provided critical software and infrastructure to World Liberty Financial, the cryptocurrency start-up co-founded by Trump and his sons.

*His son-in-law Jared Kushner, a man with no experience in either high finance investment or international diplomacy, was given two billion dollars to manage by Saudi Arabia – this generated a $40 million investment fee per year for Kushner – and then was appointed by Trump to handle wartime negotiations with Iran, Saudi Arabia’s bitterest regional rival.  In the midst of the negotiation, Kushner solicited five billion more dollars for his fund from the Saudis and other Middle Eastern governments.

*In the summer of 2025, the nation of Qatar gave Trump a $400 million luxury jumbo jet as a gift.  This was a completely unambiguous violation of the Constitution’s emoluments clause...

There are several more "highlights" that you may be familiar with, since the corruption has been out in the open for all to see and for the corporate, compromised media to largely ignore.

In a mid-term election season where one of the public's main concerns is "corruption in Washington," it helps to keep reminding everyone that we're living under the most corrupt regime, with the most irredeemably corrupt Grifter-in-Chief, that has ever taken power in our country.

And now is the time for the voters of this country to start doing something tangible about it.

Sore Loser Tries To Undermine El-Sayed

Dem Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (MI) won the Democratic primary in August after a rough and tumble campaign dominated by pro-Likudnik group AIPAC's well-funded, scurrilous campaign against him.  Just days before the mid-term election, AIPAC's candidate Rep. Haley Stevens is now seeking to undermine El-Sayed by publicly demanding that he "apologize" for remarks about Israel's rapacious war in Gaza and violence on the West Bank.  From Politico:

"After it seemed like former primary rivals Abdul El-Sayed and Rep. Haley Stevens might finally appear together, they’re back to sniping at each other. And it could hardly come at a worse moment as Democrats look to unite behind El-Sayed and hold on to a pivotal Senate seat.

El-Sayed’s campaign is asking Stevens to stay away from all future campaign events in the closing days of the race, two people familiar with the decision, who were granted anonymity to discuss sensitive campaign dynamics, told POLITICO.

She should stay away 'as not to distract from the central issues of the campaign,' one of the people said."

Haley's fiancee, injury lawyer Jason Turkish -- nominally a Dem -- announced days ago that he would be supporting El-Sayed's opponent, Big Pharma MAGA man Mike Rogers in the election.  The Michigan campaign by Rogers, "JV Dance," and the Malignant Fascist has been rife with vicious Islamophobia directed at El-Sayed and his family.  Sore loser Stevens and her fiancee seem not to care about that.

Stevens' role as a wrecker will likely doom her political future as a Dem.  If she switches parties, which is entirely possible, she'd get the financial backing needed from AIPAC.  We'll open the door for her.

Treason, Plain And Simple

Jared Kushner, the greedy and amoral son-in-law of the corrupt and mentally ill Malignant Fascist is trying to strong-arm Ukraine into a capitulation that would benefit him and his real estate hustler Steve Witkoff. Neither have been approved by the Senate as U.S. representatives. From the Wall Street Journal:

"Ukraine’s military has paused its strikes against Russian oil refineries, people with knowledge of the operations said, after weeks of pressure from President Trump shook Kyiv’s confidence in U.S. support.

The unofficial pause, which is expected to last until after the U.S. midterm elections but potentially deeper into November, began early last week at the height of a crisis in U.S.-Ukrainian relations, the people said. Days earlier, Trump had called for the removal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Elon Musk’s SpaceX had limited Ukraine’s use of the Starlink satellite internet service.

Ukraine’s government hasn’t announced a pause in refinery strikes. Zelensky has said Ukraine wants more protection for its own energy infrastructure—which Russia has been systematically destroying with missile and drone attacks ahead of winter—in exchange for holding off. [snip]

U.S. envoy Jared Kushner repeated Trump’s demand to stop hitting Russian refineries at a meeting with Zelensky on Oct. 20 in Oslo, said two U.S. officials. One official described the conversation as 'very tough.'

Kushner, who joined the meeting remotely because of an illness, told Zelensky that he should pause the strikes because he and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff were dedicating a lot of time, energy, and jet fuel to mediating with Moscow, one of the U.S. officials said. A 30-day pause on refineries would be a way for Ukraine to show gratitude, that U.S. official said." (our emphasis)

"Show gratitude" for defending a fledgling democracy from a rapacious and evil Russian invasion?  How far our foreign policy has been degraded under these Russian stooges.  For years, Russian thug, former Soviet apparatchik, and war criminal Vladimir Putin has slammed the Western alliance and has pined for the days of the old Soviet Union, and has wanted to reconstitute the footprint of the Soviet Union, while maintaining its kleptocracy.  Giving aid and comfort to the enemy -- and the Russian Federation has certainly declared itself to our decline -- is the Constitutional definition of treason.

It's past time to stand up to the monster Putin, and not kowtow like the MF is doing.

Hope you enjoy, too!

Trump Cancels In-Person Rallies [UPDATE]

Seeing the growing prospect of his candidates losing on November 3, the corrupt and mentally ill Malignant Fascist has decided to back out of rallies in Kansas and Iowa, shifting to "tele-rallies."  His deranged, racist and rambling "Reich rallies"  have reminded people -- especially independents -- of why they oppose the MF's destructive domestic and foreign policies, and how detached he is from their problems.  From NBC News:

"President Donald Trump announced Thursday he is canceling his rallies in Kansas and Iowa this weekend, where he had been set to stump for GOP candidates in competitive races, opting instead to do tele-rallies.

The rallies were to have been part of his planned midterm blitz, in which he said he would travel to 35 places across the country to help raise turnout for Republican candidates.

Trump has repeatedly touted what he believes is the positive impact of his rallies on GOP candidates, going as far as to suggest that his presence in battleground states has boosted Republicans in the polls.

But his tune appeared to change Thursday after his cancellations. Trump said he didn’t “feel I have to go to Kansas,” adding that he thinks Republican Sen. Roger Marshall, who’s locked in a tight race with Democrat Adam Hamilton, 'is doing well.”

Concerns over high costs connected to the war in Iran have helped turn the race into a toss-up in a state that hasn’t sent a Democrat to the Senate for nearly a century."

While the MF's rallies may energize the most rabid of his MAGA cult, it hasn't increased support among independent voters, and most of the "toss up" races in states that he's visited have moved to "lean Democrat," including the race in Kansas where Dem Adam Hamilton is slightly ahead of incumbent Roger Marshall and some Republican operatives have conceded it to Hamilton.

UPDATE: It's being reported that the rallies are back on in a sign of the MF's desperation.

QOTD -- The Arts And Crafts President

“The president wasn’t even mad about the Saddam Hussein comparison. That part didn’t bother him. But he was very upset about the Cheesecake Factory. He took great umbrage. He said I didn’t understand the work of the artisans in the White House.

“They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke.  Not to inflation, but to that joke. [snip]

“The President is spending time super gluing gold medallions to the mantle in the Oval Office.  He is literally doing arts and crafts while we are fighting a war.” --  President Barack Obama at a rally in Georgia yesterday.  He was responding to the reaction to his comment at a rally in Ohio Saturday about how the Malignant Fascist "got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory."  If anyone can puncture the narcissistic sociopath's fragile ego, it's President Obama -- who has the standing and chops to do it!
