We couldn't agree more with John Cole:
We have reached the inevitable point of absurdity in this witch hunt, as we have now spent more investigative energy looking into whether a newsreader saw a floating corpse than we did the totality of the lies of Judy Miller, the lies about Jessica Lynch, and the lies regarding Pat Tillman. All because Brian Williams was trying to do something nice for a retired Army guy by taking him to an NHL game.As we said yesterday, wouldn't it have been nice if these diligent truth seekers had been as diligent in the run-up to the Iraq war?
UPDATE: The hounds have treed their quarry (no, not Cheney; Williams).
