Surge for Dems?

The latest Gallup poll on the generic Congressional ballot is only one poll, but taken as it was after passage of the Wall Street reform bill, it might indicate yet another corner is being turned. By 49 to 43 percent, voters prefer Democrats to Republicans, a 12-point reversal of the numbers from June and May, and the biggest spread since Gallup starting tracking this number in March.

One thing is certain: you won't hear much about this poll from the media since it doesn't conform to the narrative of a Democratic debacle in November that they've been constructing for the past year.
