We're two weeks away from the Michigan Rethug primary -- a long time in politics -- but theocratic bedroom monitor Rick "Frothy Mix" Santorum has a healthy lead over well-lubricated weather vane and pretend severe conservative Willard "Severely Clueless" Romney by a margin of 39% to 24%, with Poot Gingrich polling a miserable 11%.
Severely Clueless Willard wants Michiganders to believe he's a "favorite son" -- along with Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Utah -- since his dad, George "I Was Brainwashed" Romney was governor of the state long ago. Sadly for Willard, his position on the 2009 Federal loans to General Motors and Chrysler was "let Detroit go bankrupt." Now, GM is the leading auto maker in the world, and Chrysler's sales are booming. How's that grab you, Mr. Job Creator?
