Buh Bye Bruins

One of the pleasures of watching our Washington Capitals beat the Boston Bruins in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs was seeing Boston goalie Tim "What the Puck" Thomas lose. Thomas, you may recall, is the full-blown wingnut who refused to accompany the rest of the Bruins to the White House last January to celebrate the team's 2011 Stanley Cup victory. His rationale was that the Kenyan Socialist was going all Big Government on the U.S. of A. and he wanted no part of that treason! No telling how many pucks to the head it took for Thomas to end up as he has, but nonetheless it was a moment to be savored when Washington Capital Joel Ward (who happens to be black, just like the blackity-black-black Kenyan in the White House!) put the winning puck in the net past "What the Puck" Thomas. (As an aside, Ward was the target of a number of racist tweets by racist twits presumed to be Bruins fans after his winning goal; no doubt members of Thomas' fan club.)
