Courtesy of Steve Benen, here's this week's compilation of the bald-faced lies coming from that smarmy trust fund brat Willard "I Like to Fire People" Romney. Our favorite this week is number 19:
"That stimulus didn't work. That stimulus didn't put more private-sector people to work."
Of course, demonstrably false, as Benen shows. But as Willard knows, Mark Twain was right when he said, "A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes."
