A new NBC News / Wall Street Journal poll indicates that the Rethuglican / New Confederate Party has some major problems with its public image. A meager 30% had a positive view of party, while 45% had a negative view. In contrast, the Democratic Party had an overall positive rating of 44%, vs. 35% negative. The so-called "fiscal cliff" battle clearly isn't working in the Rethugs' favor.
Interestingly, when asked to provide a word or phrase best describing the Rethug Party, 65% came back with negative descriptions, such as "bad," "weak," "uncompromising," and "broken." We could add "extreme," "anti-women," "anti-science," "intolerant," and so many more to that list.
