You'll chuckle when you see
this item that actor and former Gov.
Arnold "Der Ahnald" Schwarznegger might run for President in 2016, and could challenge the Constitutional provision permitting only "native-born" citizens to run for President. Der Ahnald, who was born in
Osterreich Austria, has a very, um, checkered past, including an affair with his housekeeper that resulted in a child, and allegations of sexual misconduct throughout his bodybuilding and film career. His autobiography also presents some problems for Der Ahnald,
including his admiration for Hitler's oratory. (
That might help him with the teabaggers).
We doubt anyone outside of Der Ahnald's posse takes this nonsense seriously. Indeed, the timing of Der Ahnald's musings is suspiciously timed to coincide with the release of yet another of his "action" films (with fellow Rethug geezer Sly Stallone). Pure coincidence, no doubt.
