We're reprising this Tom Petty classic (with George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Jeff Lynne, and Mike Campbell) as our way of recognizing the heroes of the shutdown/ debt ceiling fight, notably Sen. Harry Reid, President Obama and all Democrats in the House and Senate. By not backing down to the extra-constitutional threats of the teabagger-led Republicans, you were upholding the best traditions of our democracy. Thanks to all of you.
