“They want you to make this a protest vote against Obama. It’s a pretty good scam, isn’t it?  Give me a six-year job for a two-year protest, that’s Mark Pryor’s opponent’s message.”  Arkansas' native son and former Governor, former President Bill Clinton speaking at a rally for Sen. Mark Pryor and gubernatorial candidate Mike Ross at the University of Central Arkansas.  In state after state, where the President's ratings are under 50 percent approval, the Republicans are trying to avoid a discussion of their failed, reactionary policies and make the election a protest vote.  Will the voters swallow it?  We'll see in November.
