Yesterday's last minute vote to fund the Department of Homeland Security for a week shows the weakness of Weeper of the House John "Mr. Tangerine Man" Boehner in controlling the rabidly anti-Government tide within his party caucus. Instead of adopting the Senate's clean funding bill that separated out the DHS' funding from the right-wing's latest great cause, blocking humane immigration actions by the President, the wingers held firm and only allowed one week of funding. This will insure the clown show's continuation into March, while more Americans see how reckless the radical Rethuglicans are in dealing with homeland safety and security.
