Trump Voters Give Him Credit For What Obamacare Gave Them (Sad!)

Why we can't have nice things anymore, part infinity.

The name says it all:  Charla McComic.  Her "knowledge" about the politics of health care insurance is, well, McComical:
Soon after Charla McComic’s son lost his job, his health-insurance premium dropped from $567 per month to just $88, a “blessing from God” that she believes was made possible by President Trump.
I think it was just because of the tax credit,” said McComic, 52, a former first-grade teacher who traveled to Trump’s Wednesday night rally in Nashville from Lexington, Tenn., with her daughter, mother, aunt and cousin.
The price change was actually thanks to a subsidy made possible by former president Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act, which is still in place, not by the tax credits proposed by Republicans as part of the health-care bill still being considered by Congress.
The article goes on to describe other dimbulbs' perception of reality on TrumpCare and the Affordable Care Act. It's just more examples of what we have been reading and hearing ad nauseam before and after the election: the clueless, low information, "economically anxious" Trump voter who hasn't the vaguest notion what's in his or her best interest and votes accordingly. In the unlikely event TrumpCare goes into effect and crushes them, these chumps will still fall for any line fed them by the orange shitgibbon ("It's all Obama's fault!").

As they say, there's no cure for stupid. It's not covered under the Affordable Care Act, and even if it was, it certainly wouldn't cure the McComically stupid McComic and her fellow Stormtrumpers. It's in their tribal DNA.  To paraphrase Mr. Pierce, we empathize, but we don't sympathizeSic transit gloria, America.

Why is it when you can just look at a person, you can tell what will come out of their mouths? And that they will NEVER acknowledge President Obama.

Yep. Exhibiting self-awareness or introspection from them is too much to expect, FM.
