Unhinged Trump Trying To Change Narrative On Russian Scandal (UPDATED)

From The Hill this morning:
President Trump on Saturday claimed President Obama had his “wired tapped” in Trump Tower before Election Day, tweeting the accusation without offering evidence.
“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” he wrote.
“Is it legal for a sitting President to be "wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!” he added in subsequent tweets. “I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!”
Between the lines: Desperate man takes desperate measures to distract from the scandal exploding around him.  Get used to this. This is how an unhinged, guilty person clinging to power reacts to pressure.

If Trump Tower was wire tapped, it was likely part of the ongoing investigation into Rump's back door connections with Russian officials and operatives. We don't think it would be "terrible!" for the American people to know whether or not a candidate for the presidency colluded with an unfriendly foreign power, and why. In the meantime, where's your evidence shitgibbon?

UPDATE: For the record, here's the response from President Obama's spokesperson --

UPDATE II:  Wonkette has an amusing but chilling account of the multiple connections between Trump's Cabinet members with Russian interests.

Uh-huh. And Little Georgie Soros is funding my wild weekends in Vegas (I should live so long).

Someone should explain to him about the [lack of] reliability of Breitbart.

To do that, he'd have to find someone not previously employed by Breitbart in the White House (i.e.., not Bannon, not Miller, not Gorka...)!! Thanks for commenting, D.
