Japanese Breakfast is a solo indie project by Michelle Zauner, formerly the lead singer for Little Big League. Eugene, Oregon-based Zauner, who is part Korean not Japanese, is releasing a digital album in July, "Soft Sounds From Another Planet," and today's song, "Mechanic," is a track from that new album.
