Good Parents, Bad Child

Kevin Nicholson must be feeling like a motherless (and fatherless) child. The parents of the Wisconsin Rethuglican hopeful for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin have donated $2,700 to Baldwin in her bid for reelection. Nicholson was, at one time, a Democrat, but claims his views morphed during a tour of duty in Iraq. He grew angry at Democrats' opposition to the war, and switched parties about a decade ago (Ed. note: wonder what he makes of five deferment draft dodger Donald "Rump" Trump / Cadet Bone Spurs' criticism of the same war?)

Nicholson's parents are contributors to Democratic candidates and political action committees, including Democracy for America which supports Randy Bryce's challenge to Social Darwinist and plutocrat puppet Rep. Paul "Lyin'" Ryan (who thinks a $1.50 a week tax cut is a big deal). It's a shame that their son turned on them after some peer group brainwashing in Iraq.
