The infrastructure cartoon says it all.

There has always been a need to maintain our national infrastructure, but this administration will be the undoing of it all. Since they don't believe in climate change, the increase in damage to roads from dramatic temperature fluctuations leads to more and bigger potholes, bridge damage, and failing pavements. That's just one example of what we face in terms of maintaining safe highways and local streets, and without Federal funding, states will struggle to pay for it.

I live in Ohio, where Governor Kasich is all about privatization. we've seen the corruption and destruction that comes from private companies taking over. Prisons here who switched to privately-run food services are facing food shortages and maggot-infested meals for prisoners. Charter schools, which are not held accountable and don't answer to anyone, are failing across the board. It doesn't work when you sell society to the lowest bidder.
