In a campaign entitled "To Future Women," letters to women in 2037 are being collected by The Phillips Collection, Natural History Museum in Washington, DC.

When we lift up women, we lift up everyone. When we break glass ceilings, we are breaking boundaries for all. When women walk together, we are including our sisters and brothers alike.
ReplyDeleteIt's important to celebrate an International Day of Women, but to move forward for the other 364 days. We are half the population and we deserve to be paid equally and treated fairly, without fear of sexual abuse or attack. We deserve it.
donnah -- So well said. This is a HUMAN cause, one that should never threaten men. If women are not truly free and equal, neither are they. And it IS a constant fight, not just for today.
