More Stormy Weather, Cont'd.
In another twist to the Stormy Saga, according to the Dallas Morning News, Texas officials are looking into the failure of a Texas notary public to have properly signed and dated that hush agreement between porn star Stormy Daniels and misogynist and liar Donald "Rump" Trump in 2016. This is the agreement that also lacks the signature of the other party to the agreement, i.e. Rump (a.k.a. "David Dennison"), a fact that her attorneys say voids the hush agreement. The notary, Erika Jackson, also did not provide the required certification to the Texas Secretary of State that she verified the identity of the signers.
The must-see interview with Daniels on 60 Minutes is scheduled to air this Sunday on CBS, while Rump's attorneys are threatening to file a request for an injunction to prevent her from telling her story, something that legal analysts expect to fail due to courts frowning on "prior restraint" of free speech.

Unfortunately, the notary issue is irrelevant to the enforceability or validity of the contract. There isn't really any dispute that Ms. Clifford, aka Daniels signed the contract. There are other issues which are relevant to the contract, most involving the very poor job that Mr. Cohen did in drafting it.
