The nomination drama of Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny "Candy Man" Jackson to be the Secretary of Veterans Affairs is over, with Jackson withdrawing this morning.

Jackson's nomination became untenable when 23 current and former uniformed military came forward, accusing him of intoxication on the job, unethical and abusive behavior, temper tantrums, dispensing opiods improperly, and crashing a Government car while drunk following a going away party.
Neo-fascist sociopath Donald "Rump" Trump picked Jackson, who had no experience in running the type of huge bureaucracy as the Veterans Administration, apparently because of Jackson's glowing and obviously ludicrous medical evaluation of Rump. Rump himself distanced himself Monday, saying that he wouldn't want to go through the scrutiny that Jackson was. Good to see his "loyalty" to Rump rewarded in such a humiliating, public way.
