I suppose the fact that Rump has historically low approval rating overall, but very high own-party approval must mean fewer respondents identify as Republican? Or more people are closeted Republican
SSBC - I read it to mean virtually all of Rump's support is comprised of Republicans, with some Republicans- in- name- only "independents" thrown into the mix.
Atrocious. They've thrown over every principle or concern about the good of the country for the sake of raw power. I agree with you, whatever might once have been good or worthwhile about the Republican party has been corrupted and rotted away by their accommodation of Trump. They need to go the way of the Whigs.
