Tweet Of The Day: Poisoning Ourselves

Delusional, lying autocrat Donald "Dear Leader" Trump will continue his act, unless and until the media decides to refrain from running his garbage "news" conferences / rallies, etc. from beginning to end without fact checking real time. Don't expect much to change.

Tweet Of The Day -- The Wages Of Spin

News item:  Trump campaign in financial turmoil.  Where'd the million$ go?
The Trump campaign has undertaken its own financial review of spending under Mr. Parscale. Among the first changes implemented was shutting down an ad campaign that had used Mr. Parscale's personal social media accounts to deliver pro-Trump ads. More than $800,000 had been poured into boosting Mr. Parscale's Facebook and Instagram pages; those ads ceased the day after he was removed as campaign manager.

Tweets Of The Day

News item:  Last night at his Bedminster golf club "press conference," moron vector Donald "COVID Donnie" Trump had a HUGE announcement to make:  he would be "pursuing" an executive order making coverage of pre-existing conditions mandatory for insurance companies.  Needless to say, there were plenty of folks happy to point out something about that announcement:

So, after talking for weeks about an imminent health care plan, this is what they come up with?  Is it to provide cover for the Republican Supreme Court to strike down the Affordable Care Act in the pending cases, most likely after the election as a final f.u. to Democrats?  Regardless, there are millions of low information voters who might buy this as an "alternative" to the ACA, even though loss of coverage, junk policies and unaffordable premiums would be some of the ways the insurance industry would likely respond in an ACA- free America.

Democrats and the media can't let them get away with this COVID Donnie con job.

Meanwhile, the event turned into more of a mini- rally, with club members ($350,000 membership fee) assembled mostly mask- less and with their wine glasses to cheer COVID Donnie, while no action is taken to help unemployed Americans:

Tweet Of The Day -- "What Day Is It? Where Are You?"

Background: During an interview with Chris Wallace on Fox "News", there was this exchange with Very Stable Genius Donald "COVID Donnie" Trump:
With the president challenging presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden to go down and take the test with him, [Wallace] pulled the president up and smiled as he pointed out there is little to be proud about for passing such a simple series of exercises.
“I took the [cognitive] test too, when I heard you passed it,” Wallace said as a shot of the test scrolled on the screen for the viewers. “It’s not the hardest test. It shows a picture and it says, ‘what’s that,’ and it’s an elephant.”
“No, no,” Trump snapped back. “You see that’s all misrepresentation. Because, yes, the first few questions are easy, but I’ll bet you couldn’t answer the last five questions. I’ll bet you couldn’t, they get very hard.”
Check them out:

Aced it! Genius!

Tweet Of The Day -- Going Low

Of all the topics and tweets we could have gone with today, we had to go low:

That would be Republican Gov. Tate "Tater" Reeves.

A "Well done" to the puerile prankster!
