"A Little Bit Of Difficulty"

At today's press conference at the White (Supremacist) House, sociopath and serial abuser Donald "Rump" Trump responded to a question about his Supreme Court nominee, accused abuser and liar Brett (KavaNut) Kavanaugh's boozing:
"I was surprised at how vocal he was about the fact that he likes beer, and he's had a little bit of difficulty, I mean he talked about things that happened when he drinks -- this is not a man that said...that he was perfect with respect to alcohol." (our emphasis)
You mean when he talked about beer a couple of dozen times (I like beer, I still like beer, I drink beer, DO YOU DRINK BEER, SENATOR, WELL DO YOU?) it caught your attention? It's apparent that he drank to excess both while in his prep school and at Yale, according to multiple accounts. The latest account is from Chad Ludington, a classmate of KavaNut's at Yale and currently a professor at North Carolina State University. According to a Raleigh News & Observer story:
“I knew Brett at Yale because I was a classmate and a varsity basketball player and Brett enjoyed socializing with athletes. Indeed, athletes formed the core of Brett’s social circle,'Ludington said in the statement.

But in recent days, Ludington said he became 'deeply troubled by what has been a blatant mischaracterization by Brett himself of his drinking at Yale.'

While watching Kavanaugh being interviewed on Fox News and during his testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Ludington said 'I cringed.'

'For the fact is, at Yale, and I can speak to no other times, Brett was a frequent drinker, and a heavy drinker. I know, because, especially in our first two years of college, I often drank with him. On many occasions I heard Brett slur his words and saw him staggering from alcohol consumption, not all of which was beer,' Ludington said."
(our emphasis)
Yet another credible witness, one who should be questioned by the FBI as part of the expanded investigation (see post below).

BONUS:  At the same press conference, he managed to insult a female reporter's (irony alert) intelligence --

  1. If this expanded investigation provides more documentation and proof of Kavanaugh's terrible history and his alcohol abuse, and the Republican Senators have the blatant brass to go ahead and vote him through, there will be a reaction that they have not reckoned with. Women will set them on fire. Voters will retaliate at the polls. McConnell thinks he's going to maybe give up the House but keep the Senate, but a wave, a tsunami, will blow them all away.

We are that wave. We have to get out voters in astronomical numbers to make sure that even tampering won't matter. We have to speak out loud and clear that we're fed up with the lies, the dishonor, and the way the Republicans do business.

    It's up to us.
