Mid-Week Birthday Song

Today marks the 77th birthday of enduring entertainment icon Barbra Streisand, who has won every major (and many minor) accolades for her singing, acting, and humanitarian activism. You want a sample?
Two Academy Awards, ten Grammy Awards including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the Grammy Legend Award, five Emmy Awards including one Daytime Emmy, a Special Tony Award, an American Film Institute award, a Kennedy Center Honors prize, four Peabody Awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and nine Golden Globes.
But rather than list her awards, it's far more enriching to hear her magnificent, evocative voice. Here, she sings "The Rain Will Fall," from her 36th studio album "Walls", released last November.

You can tell one lie a thousand times
But that doesn't make it real
It's a thundercloud of alibis
That empty words cannot conceal
When up is down and wrong is right
In everything you do and say
The truth becomes a shelter when
The storm is on its way
Yes the storm is on its way
