The orange shitgibbon wasn't pleased and seems to be signaling Wray's imminent dismissal:

Going through two FBI Directors in less than 3 years seems a bit... erratic, even for the Very Stable Genius.  But, removing Wray (perhaps at the "recommendation" of his Roy Cohn, AG William "Low" Barr) would allow him to place a toadie in a critical position in our intelligence and national security community, someone who would do his bidding without questions asked.
