The Washington Post reports on the deranged letter sent by malicious moron Donald "Rump" Trump to Speaker Nancy Pelosi yesterday:
The press will euphemize DT's behavior no matter what he does. pic.twitter.com/gCvlrZvyeA— Feminazgûl (@jkyles10) December 18, 2019
Trump sends the most lunatic six-page letter in presidential history and WaPost calls him..."resilient" 🙄https://t.co/LtTSXfRyZE There aren't enough eyerolls for this story. "fiery and freewheeling," seriously? "sallies forth and soldiers on" (says Kellyanne!) seriously?— Mark Follman (@markfollman) December 18, 2019
Here we see the resiliency of the President which The Washington Post spoke of yesterday demonstrated once again. Bask in this statesman’s calm command of the situation. Rest your own anxieties on the sure stability of his mind. https://t.co/YZEX03xTNa— southpaw (@nycsouthpaw) December 18, 2019
The Post still has a way to go before it matches the egregious access journalism of the New York Effing Times and its despicable coverage of the 2016 Clinton and Trump campaigns and the Trump regime under editor Dean Baquet. But we should stop being surprised by this behavior, as often as it may occur, because it's just in the nature of corporate institutions to normalize and to deflect in order to present the most sanitized version of events to its consumers (note that we're distinguishing between the access news coverage and the editorial boards of these particular news outlets). That they're betraying their own journalistic ideal of truth- telling even at this most critical moment in our history is tragic, but no longer remarkable.
