Trump Announcing Fake Mideast "Peace Plan"

Malignant narcissist and corrupt con man Donald "Impeached Forever" Trump keeps tossing one shiny object after another to distract from his Senate trial (China trade, etc.). The latest is his  moribund so-called Mideast peace plan, which is no plan at all since the Palestinian Authority isn't buying it. Concocted by his inept, jack-of-all-trades son-in-law Jared "Mr. Ivanka Trump" Kushner with corrupt Likudnik Bibi "Bomb Bomb" Netanyahu, Trump wants to unveil the plan before Netanyahu's visit to the White (Supremacist) House on Tuesday. While Bibi's rival Benny Gantz will also be received by Trump in a subordinate capacity, it's a two-fer for Bibi who needs the sham deal and grip-and-grin visit with Trump as part of his political survival in Israel's upcoming elections, after being indicted for corruption last fall.

The fraud of the plan is that it's a two dimensional object, leaving out the essential Palestinians without whom the plan won't succeed. From the AP report:
“It’s entirely about politics,” Michael Koplow, policy director of the Israel Policy Forum, said about Tuesday’s meeting. “You simply can’t have a serious discussion about an Israeli-Palestinian peace plan and only invite one side to come talk about it. This is more about the politics inside Israel and inside the U.S. than it is about any real efforts to get these two sides to an agreement.” (our emphasis)
They're actually trying to sell the notion that the plan without the Palestinians is an incentive to them, and Arab states that support them, to come to the table, despite no evidence of that. As he does constantly, Trump has been lying about the process:
"Trump, for his part, told reporters on Air Force One this week that 'It’s a plan that really would work.' He said he spoke to the Palestinians 'briefly,' without elaborating.

Nabil Abu Rdeneh, a spokesman for the Western-backed Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, says that’s not true.

'There were no talks with the U.S. administration — neither briefly nor in detail,' he said. 'The Palestinian position is clear and consistent in its rejection of Trump’s decisions regarding Jerusalem and other issues, and everything related to the rejected deal.'” (our emphasis)
So expect next week's roll out to be full of visuals, promises, false optimism, and above all, lies. There won't be a plan under Trump for an Israeli-Palestinian peace, just the diplomatic equivalent of a game where the other team doesn't show.
