Weekend Real McCoy Music

We'd be remiss not to note the passing of one of the great jazz pianists of our time, McCoy Tyner. Tyner passed away on March 6 at the age of 81.  A collaborator with such greats as John Coltrane, Art Blakey, Freddie Hubbard and Wayne Shorter, Tyner was known for his elegant, melodic interpretations.  "When Sunny Gets Blue" is from his "Today and Tomorrow" album, released in 1964, and also features Jimmy Garrison on bass and Albert Heath on drums.  Sit back, relax and enjoy.
