Among the worst, most slavishly Trumpist Governors in America, South Dakota's virus spreader Gov. Kristi "KOVID Kristi" Noem wanted to have a big indoor concert in Sioux Falls to kick off her "Sportsman's Showcase" event. It's now been canceled.
Noem, who has national ambitions to someday carry the Trumpist banner perhaps into the White (Supremacist) House, presided over Trump's extravaganza at Mt. Rushmore in July (where she sycophantically showed him a mock up of the mountain with his image on it). She followed that travesty up with her blessing of the 10-day COVID-19 super spreading Sturgis Motorcycle rally, which spread the virus across the U.S. infecting an estimated 266,000.
KOVID Kristi's done her super spreading job. South Dakota is a top hot spot for new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, with 320 new cases reported just yesterday. Seven percent of the state's hospital beds are now occupied by COVID-19 patients, and the state's positivity rating is nearly 11%, among the highest per capita rates in the U.S. But like other fanatic Trumpers, if it doesn't touch their lives, it doesn't exist.
