Got to admit, I've become quite disillusioned with the general nature of the American people. Yes, there are tens of millions of smart and rational Americans but we, and I include myself on the rational side, seemed to be outweighed by the insane idiots.
So much that I can't fight the fear that the idiots will drag us down with them.
BB -- We certainly share your fears, as evidence keeps mounting that there's a significant minority of zero-sum, nihilistic dolts who would see as a "win" bringing down the country in order for them to prevail. Unfortunately, people who presumably know better (Republican officeholders and many in the media) are perfectly willing to abet those efforts.
