Happy birthday to country / folk star Kacey Musgraves, whose latest album, "Deeper Well," was released this past spring and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Musgraves, who cites an eclectic variety of influences from Loretta Lynn and Alison Krauss, to Weezer and Neil Young, has been a champion of causes from LGBTQ rights to fighting religious hypocrisy, while on her way to winning seven Grammys and seven Country Music Association awards.
