SoCal blues/rock band Robert Jon and the Wreck traces their musical roots to Southern rock (Allman Brothers, etc.), but we hear the southern California in this just- released song, "Highway" (Eagles?). They spend a lot of time touring in the U.S. and Europe (where they seem to be even more popular and are currently on tour).
The Wildmans (brother and sister duo Elisha and Aila) hail from Appalachian Virginia and have been immersed in that folk/ bluegrass/ Americana tradition all their lives. Their new album, "Longtime Friend," is due out on July 11; this is their first release from that album, "Take Me." Hope you enjoy.
