Quotes Of The Day -- Brain Drain

“We must not downplay what is at stake today. No one could have imagined a few years ago that one of the world's largest democracies would abolish research programs on the grounds that there was the word diversity in their programs.  No one could have imagined that one of the world's greatest democracies could, in one fell swoop, strike out the possibility of obtaining a visa for a researcher...”  -- French President Emmanuel Macron today, speaking at the Sorbonne University in Paris announcing  the “Choose Europe for Science” initiative which "would put forward a €500 million program from 2025 to 2027 to attract foreign researchers to 'help support the best and the brightest researchers and scientists from Europe and around the world.'”

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also attended the announcement, saying “The role of science in today’s world is questioned. The investment in fundamental, free and open research is questioned. What a gigantic miscalculation. Science has no passport, no gender, no ethnicity or political party.”

The moron madman Malignant Fascist's racist attacks on science and higher education under the guise of fighting "DEI" and "anti-Semitism" are going to spur a brain drain that will lead to America losing its dominance in scientific and medical research and innovation, perhaps forever.  Another coup for the Malignant Fascist's handler, war criminal Putin.

Oh, one more quote before we go, this from Albert Einstein: "Two things are infinite:  the Universe and human stupidity;  and I'm not sure about the Universe."  He must've been prescient about the Malignant Fascist and MAGAts.
