Sleazy Deputy Attorney General and the Malignant Fascist's criminal defense lawyer Todd Blanche will be meeting again with convicted Jeffrey Epstein associate and underage sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, imprisoned in a Federal facility in Florida. To believe this is an innocent search for information on the guilty is to believe the MF's name isn't in the Epstein files. From the Associated Press:
"The meeting in Florida, which Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said he worked to arrange, is part of an ongoing Justice Department effort to cast itself as transparent following fierce backlash from parts of President Donald Trump’s base over an earlier refusal to release additional records in the Epstein investigation.
'Ms. Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped, she never invoked a privilege, she never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability,' attorney David Oscar Markus told reporters outside the federal courthouse in Tallahassee, where Maxwell met with Blanche.
In a social media post Tuesday, Blanche said that Trump 'has told us to release all credible evidence' and that if Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the Justice Department 'will hear what she has to say.'”
Markus said his team was 'thankful' the deputy attorney general came to question Maxwell, calling it a 'good day.'
Asked if his client could potentially receive a pardon or see her prison term reduced, Markus said: 'There’s no promises yet. So she’s just answering questions for now.'” (our emphasis)
"There's no promises yet.." tells you that Maxwell is expecting something in return for helping the MF. Also, you can be assured that "credible evidence" almost certainly does not include evidence against the MF by definition. Evidence against him is what the MF would call a "hoax" or "fake news."
Maxwell has a history of lying under oath, and any offers of "information" from her to please the MF would almost certainly result in leniency toward her, in the form of a commuted sentence or pardon down the road. As we saw with the MF's pardon of the January 6 violent insurrectionists, he has no problem pardoning the guilty who side with him.
BONUS: The MF won't rule out a pardon of Maxwell: "I'm allowed to do it"...
Trump's efforts to resolve the Epstein affair is OJ Simpson-s vow to find the real killer writ large. I-m surprised that someone hasn't filled a civil suit against him along the lines of the Jean Carroll suit. Even if there's a stake of limitation he would surely walk right into a defamation trap.
