Epstein Files Release Closer Thanks To Arizona Democrat's Win?

Yesterday's resounding win by Democrat Adelita Grijalva to fill the remainder of the term of her late father Raul has implications beyond adding a 214th Democrat to the House of Representatives.  It means Democrats (with a few Republicans) will have the numbers to force a vote on a House discharge petition directing DOJ to release all of its investigative files on pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein (and best pal Trump, of course):

Tuesday's election will likely deliver the decisive signature to allow a vote on compelling the Department of Justice to release all records related to Jeffrey Epstein. The bipartisan discharge petition was put forth by Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna.

After Democrat Rep. James Walkinshaw won his special election in Virginia earlier this month, the newly sworn-in congressman brought the discharge petition to 217 signatures, inching it closer to the required 218 needed to force a vote on the matter.  [snip]

“Rep.-elect Grijalva has also pledged to sign the discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files, bringing Democrats a 218th vote and a bipartisan majority to demand accountability and transparency,” the statement said in a statement celebrating Grijalva’s victory.

Now, it remains to be seen if the DOJ will comply with a bipartisan petition compelling it to turn over the Epstein files (note the question mark in our header).  With the toadies in charge there, we wouldn't be too sanguine.  But it certainly would raise the level of coverup to new heights, with attendant consequences.

  1. Soon the First Pedophile-abettor will need to release the Epstein files just to divert attention from the other scandals and catastrophes he's responsible for.
