Just hours after U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert resigned from is post at the Eastern District of Virginia because he declined to prosecute New York Attorney General Letitia James over apparently false allegations, the Malignant Fascist has found a willing accomplice in his revenge: White House aide Lindsey Halligan. From the Associated Press:
"President Donald Trump said Saturday that he would be nominating senior White House aide Lindsey Halligan to serve as the top federal prosecutor for the Virginia office that was thrown into turmoil when its U.S. attorney was pushed out Friday.
In a social media post just after he departed the White House for an event at Mount Vernon, Trump wrote he was nominating Halligan as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, writing that she “will be Fair, Smart, and will provide, desperately needed, JUSTICE FOR ALL!”
The announcement came as Trump pressed Attorney General Pam Bondi to move forward with pursuing cases against some of his political opponents, part of a vow for retribution that has been a theme of his return to the White House.
The nomination would place one of the president’s legal defenders in charge of an office in tumult over political pressure by administration officials to criminally charge New York Attorney General Letitia James, a longtime foe of Trump, in a mortgage fraud investigation." (our emphasis)
James led the effort to hold the MF legally liable for insurance and tax / asset valuation fraud by his organization. Halligan, who formerly practiced insurance law in Florida, was part of the corrupt MF's legal team and was recently overseeing the removal of "improper ideology" from exhibitions at the Smithsonian Institution. Just the right fit for the job.
She can be certain to follow orders from the MF and his corrupt Attorney General Pam "Blondie" Bondi to go after "enemies" of the MF who have sought to bring him to justice for his criminal behavior. Instead of following the vengeful MF down legal rabbit holes, the DOJ / Bondi must Release The Epstein Files.

Delete🙃🤪🤨😱 I get that these low-level, non-prosecutor, unqualified Trump personal lawyers are loyal to him and that's the point. But, it drives me crazy that no one asks Trump why he is loyal to these personal attorneys! They were so bad at lawyering, Trump got slapped with millions in civil fines (some reduced or dismissed, but not the judgment for E. Jean Carroll) and 34 felony convictions!! Maybe they accepted these WH and DOJ positions in lieu of the attorney fees they were owed. I just think there are plenty of loyal MAGA attorneys who know how to be prosecutors and would love high-profile positions and aren't complete idiots! But Trump keeps the inbreeding going! Why?! 🤷♀️
