Man, the lessons of the mid-term elections have definitely not penetrated the demented brain of the Malignant Fascist. His political impulse has gone to "Maximum Nazi":
President Donald Trump announced Friday that longtime adviser Stephen Miller will soon replace Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff, and Democratic legislators are rightfully sounding the alarm:
“Clearly they’ve learned nothing,” Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) wrote, along with a “puking” emoji.
“Buckle up: this is a sign of Trump’s contempt for the voters,” Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) wrote. “In the aftermath of an election that was a repudiation of Trump’s corruption, wars, cruelty, and indifference to the economic pain of Americans, it’s another kick in the teeth to the American people.”
“Appointing the architect of ICE’s reign of terror shows that in Donald Trump’s administration, cruelty is rewarded,” Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) responded.
“Stephen Miller is the most dangerous person in Trump’s administration and should be fired instead of promoted,” said Sen. Andy Kim (D-N.J.). ”Americans overwhelmingly voted to end the chaos and lower costs. Stephen Miller has done nothing but sow hatred and foster corruption.”
Even though "PeeWee Goebbels" Miller was effectively operating as Chief of Staff/ co-President for the past two years, as the Democrats quoted have said, this is a glaring "f*ck you" to the new Democratic majorities as well as to the American public, many of whom voted in revulsion at the immigration crackdown overseen by Miller. It's also looking more and more like a signal that the MF is going to hang on to fellow pariah "Whiskey Pete" Hegseth.
They're girding for war, and Democrats need to meet the moment. We think incoming House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) gets it:
"Just days after the American people rejected his corrupt and lawless presidency, Donald Trump is doubling down. Stephen Miller is the architect of the unconstitutional ICE raids that have terrorized our communities and kidnapped and killed American citizens and immigrant families.
"Oversight Democrats will continue to investigate Miller for his misconduct, and we will fight against his hateful policies in Congress and the courts.
"Stephen Miller should lawyer up"...
