Michael Phelps

Highest kudos to Olympic multi-gold winner Michael Phelps!! In addition to winning his historic eighth gold in this Olympics, Phelps set new world records in seven of those eight events. We have to give a lot of credit to Michael, of course, his mother and sisters, but would like to note he's from the Baltimore area and briefly attended (and trained at) the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!). With all that going for you, how could you not win?!

Dumbya's Great Adventure

With the mounting conflict threatening to break into all out war between Russia and Georgia, it's good to know that Dumbya is enjoying "mixing" with the women's beach volleyball team in Beijing. Not that his involvement would be welcomed by the international community. They'd prefer that he stay where he is.
