Flynn's "Substantial Assistance" Remains Intriguing
The release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's sentencing memo for treasonous clod Michael "Lock Him Up" Flynn last night was intriguing in both what it said, and in what was redacted. You can read the full text of the sentencing memo here.
The 7-page document acknowledges Flynn's "substantial assistance" with the investigation, signaling that he gave some very critical information on the Trump gang's connections with the Kremlin. He reportedly had 19 interviews over the past year with the Special Counsel's prosecutors detailing those connections. It refers to ongoing investigations -- plural -- suggesting that Mueller likely farmed out some individual cases to other prosecutors, as he did with Michael Cohen's case to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, when he saw crimes were committed but were technically outside his specific mandate. Mueller closes by recommending the minimum sentence, i.e. no time served, for Flynn given the depth of his assistance.
It's the sentencing memo's 6-page addendum (at this link) that is telling in what was redacted. The addendum covers sensitive information about the ongoing investigations that have not been completed, specifically a "criminal investigation" that is referenced starting on p. 2 but heavily redacted. The addendum also (p. 4) redacts paragraphs dealing with information Flynn provided concerning interactions between the transition team and the Kremlin, likely involving corrupt conspirator Jared "Mr. Ivanka Trump" Kushner and others. You'll recall that Kushner was caught lying multiple times on his SF-86 security clearance form about contacts with foreign governments, establishing "back channels" to the Kremlin, and meeting with Sergei Gorkov, the oligarch head of Russia's sanctioned Vnesheconombank Bank in December, 2016 during the transition period.
So there's more to come in tying up Mueller's "loose ends." However, given the sensitivity reflected in the Flynn sentencing memo and addendum, it's clear that Mueller has worked his way up the chain of command and is getting his next targets -- who are temporarily hidden by redactions -- lined up.

He's Sweating, Cont'd.
In a morning Twit-tantrum, unindicted co-conspirator and Kremlin asset Donald "Rump" Trump lashed out at his own Attorney General, evil elf Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, for not blowing more smoke to obscure the Mueller investigation indictments and actions:
Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 21, 2018
Two points for the Twit-In-Chief: President Obama warned Putin in September 2016 that Moscow's meddling and hacking had to stop. When it came time to enlist the support of Rethuglican leadership to present a united front, Senate Majority Leader and human/turtle hybrid Mitch "Missy" McConnell said "no," fearing that it would benefit Hillary Clinton to expose Russia's tilt toward Rump. Rump had been whining about the elections being "rigged" all that fall, and Obama was, sadly in retrospect, reluctant to appear to put his finger on the scales for Hillary.
The second point: Obama kicked Russian agents out of the U.S. right after the election, and closed two of their compounds. The sanctions that Obama imposed against Russia after their invasion of Ukraine were the sanctions that Rump's advisor and Russian tool Michael "Lock Him Up" Flynn secretly promised the Russians (on Rump's orders) would be lifted under Rump. Flynn then lied to the FBI about it. Rump has refused to implement the new sanctions on the Kremlin that were passed overwhelmingly by Congress.
The more Rump flails and points here and there, the more you know he's sweating over the Mueller investigation's relentless push that's getting ever closer to the Oval Office.
