Javanka's "Reality Distortion Field"

Michelle Goldberg has a great op-ed in the New York Times, looking at the corrupt duo Jared "Mr. Ivanka Trump" Kushner and Ivanka "Complicit" Trump through the lens of Vicky Ward's new book "Kushner, Inc."  These two children of wealth and privilege breezed into Washington on the coattails of daddy Donald "Rump" Trump, and thought government business would be a breeze, like branding shoes or screwing up real estate deals. As Goldberg notes, the book reveals that the much-detested couple thinks they're destined for greatness:
"According to 'Kushner, Inc.,' Gary Cohn, former director of the National Economic Council, has told people that Ivanka Trump thinks she could someday be president. 'Her father’s reign in Washington, D.C., is, she believes, the beginning of a great American dynasty,' writes Ward. Kushner, whose pre-White House experience included owning a boutique newspaper and helming a catastrophically ill-timed real estate deal, has arrogated to himself substantial parts of American foreign policy." (our emphasis)
Her delusions of grandeur are likely why she asked to sit in on meetings with the likes of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and occupied the ambassador's chair at the U.N. one time. Her head of delegation presence at the embassy dedication ceremony in Jerusalem after Rump moved it there was another annoying reminder of her sense of entitlement. Goldberg continues:
"Partly, the Jared and Ivanka story is about the 'reality distortion field' — a term one of Ward’s sources uses about Kushner — created by great family wealth. She quotes a member of Trump’s legal team saying that the two 'have no idea how normal people perceive, understand, intuit.' Privilege, in them, has been raised to the level of near sociopathy. [snip]
[Ward] knocks down the idea that either he or his wife is a stabilizing force or moral compass in the Trump administration. Multiple White House sources told her they think it was Kushner who ordered the closing of White House visitor logs in April 2017, because he 'didn’t want his frenetic networking exposed.' Ward reports that Cohn was stunned by their blasé reaction to Trump’s defense of the white-nationalist marchers in Charlottesville, Va.: 'He was upset that they were not sufficiently upset.'” (our emphasis)
Of all of the creatures in and around the Rump regime, these two amoral climbers may be the most deceptive as far as their groomed public image. They also may be among the most dangerous to national security, as our intelligence community realized when their top secret clearances were denied.

Kushner's Antics "Endangered The U.S."

As we noted yesterday, Vicky Ward's book "Kushner, Inc.", due out on March 19, has some revealing stories about the role of corrupt demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump's son-in-law and lusted-after daughter in the public's business. The story Jared "Mr. Ivanka Trump" Kushner's attempt to intimidate a witness to Rump's attempt to concoct a cover story about the Kushner-attended June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower with Russian agents makes him complicit in the whole Russiagate coverup.

The Guardian has another excerpt from "Kushner, Inc." which indicates that senior Rump regime officials, namely former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and economic advisor Gary Cohn, confronted Kushner about his flagrant mixing of Government business with personal business.
"Ward reports that Tillerson blamed Kushner for Trump’s abrupt endorsement of a provocative blockade and diplomatic campaign against Qatar by Saudi Arabia and several allies in June 2017. The US has thousands of troops stationed in Qatar.

Tillerson 'told Kushner that his interference had endangered the US', an unidentified Tillerson aide tells Ward. Tillerson is also said to have read negative 'chatter' about himself in intelligence reports after Kushner belittled him to Kushner’s friend Mohammed bin Salman, the controversial Saudi crown prince.
Meanwhile, Cohn is said to have rebuked Kushner in January 2017 after it was revealed Kushner had dined with executives from the Chinese financial corporation Anbang, which was considering investing in the Kushner family’s troubled tower at 666 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

“You’ve got to be crazy,” Cohn is said to have told Kushner in front of others. Kushner met the executives around the time he hosted Chinese government officials at the Fifth Avenue tower. The building was eventually refinanced by a Qatari-backed investment fund.

The dynamic duo known as "Javanka" are apparently despised by people that have to work with them in furthering their own financial and personal agendas:
Ward’s book portrays Kushner and Ivanka Trump as relentlessly ambitious operators who are loathed by many forced to work with them. She reports that White House staffers mocked Kushner as the “secretary of everything” for his wide-ranging meddling and derided Ivanka Trump’s team as Habi – “home of all bad ideas”. (our emphasis)
Nepotism is always a bad idea, but in this case, Javanka are endangering our national security by engaging in personal business on Government time with some of the worst actors on the planet, who now have them by their wallets while they whisper bad ideas to them.

Coward Kushner Tries Intimidation On Vet

The new book by journalist Vicky Ward, "Kushner, Inc.", has been delivering revealing details about how demagogue and Russian asset Donald "Rump" Trump's son-in-law Jared "Mr. Ivanka Trump" Kushner, including the allegation that Rump wanted him and his lusted-after daughter back in New York but was to timid to confront them directly, asking then chief of staff John Kelly to be the bad guy

Now, in an example of the influence of these two poster children for undeserved and corrupt nepotism, the book tells the story of how Kushner tried to smear someone who refused a position in the White (Supremacist) House. From ABC News:
"When Mark Corallo, then the spokesman for President Donald Trump’s legal team, declined an offer to take over as the White House communications director in the summer of 2017, Jared Kushner reportedly refused to take 'no' for an answer.
'Don’t you want to serve your country?' Kushner, according to a new book, asked Corallo, an Army veteran and longtime Washington public relations executive. 'Young man,' Corallo reportedly replied, 'my three years at the butt end of an M16 checked that box.' [snip]
Soon after, amid an onslaught of negative press coverage calling his integrity into question, Corallo reportedly received a call from a reporter who informed him that a Kushner aide had been dispatched to '[thrash him] all over town.' (our emphasis)
This is their modus operandi. When they don't get their way, they pout and punish the commoner that doesn't obey them. You can be assured that they stamped their feet when they didn't get a top secret security clearance because of their shady and compromising international business dealings, which the CIA / FBI / NSA surely documented.

It's worth noting that Corallo was present when the cover story on the meeting with Russian operatives with greasy Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared in June 2016 in Trump Tower was concocted. He refused to go along with the false story that the meeting was about "Russian adoptions." Corallo's been cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, so he may have the last laugh on Javanka.
