Seems like the tea bagger convention scheduled for early February in Nashville is turning off many of its tea baggin' grass(astroturf)rooters. As TPM reports, many of the original numbnuts that formed the movement won't be attending the event, which will feature Winky You Betcha (Fux's newest hire) and Michele "I See Commies" Bachmann, due to the steep $549 price of admission and the nagging feeling that, just maybe, the Rethugs were hijacking the movement ("Call for Tin Man Steele!"). If Winky wasn't charging a reported $100,000 speaking fee, they maybe could have brought down the admission fee to a level a few more of the tea baggers not named Dick Armey could afford.
