The once- future- hope of the Republican Party is a moron. This Marco Rubio tweet (now deleted, of course) blamed the recent power outages in Venezuela on "the German Dam":

The "Dam" responds:
Senator @marcorubio, an important transformer exploded in Bolívar and that, in part, again collapsed the Venezuelan Electric System; however it was not in a dam, much less german.— Germán Dam (@GEDV86) March 9, 2019
My name is Germán Dam, I am one of the journalists who published the information.

It's early morning here, but you won't top this one all day.
Not enough words to describe the stupidity of Marco Rubio. But he's always got to chime in with some derisive comments, in spite of not knowing what he's talking about. Typical Republican.
ReplyDeletedonnah -- why he's been treated with such deference by the media says as much about them as it does empty suit Rubio.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is glorious. Rubio was once seen as Presidential material, but with the water bottle, his robotic repetitions in the debate with Christie, and now this, he's veering into Gohmertesque depths of dumbth. He can hardly be taken seriously any more.
ReplyDeleteinfidel -- agree, but "dam" if the media won't continue to see him as a serious player, just like they never gave up their construct of Paul Ryan as a "wonk!"
