Mitch McConnell's Continuing Pollution Of American Politics

We noted back in April how turtle/ tumor hybrid Sen. Mitch "Missy" McConnell (R- Kompromat) received a quid pro quo for his role in lifting sanctions on Putin and Manafort pal Oleg Deripaska.  The New York Times also had an article earlier this month discussing the lobbying side of the deal, wherein a familiar name was dropped.  Last night, Rachel Maddow ties in how that corrupt arrangement has now resulted in a flaming, unqualified wingnut given a lifetime appointment to the Federal bench:

Democrats have asked for an investigation of the McConnell/ Deripaska deal, but since the request went to Trump toady and tax return stonewaller Treasury Secretary Steve "Moochin'" Mnuchin, we'll have to wait for a Democratic administration (or a fearless U.S. Attorney) to get the results needed.  As far as the Vitter appointment, we'll just have a lifetime of regrets.
