Today In "Christian" Priorities, Vigilante Edition

A right wing "Christian" crowdfunding site is busy raising funds for the vigilante who shot and killed two people in Kenosha, WI a few days ago. They've set $200,000 as their goal and are around $160,000 currently. Their "story" claims that shooter and Trump cult member Kyle Rittenhouse was acting in "self-defense," despite the fact that no one that he shot was carrying a gun, and falsely claiming he was attacked by "Antifa."  Rittenhouse was videoed stalking the streets looking for trouble, intimidating people and brandishing his AR-15. When onlookers tried to stop him from fleeing after he killed his first victim, Rittenhouse shot two more people and calmly walked by police who let him escape to his home in Illinois. So, he wasn't there to "defend his community" as the grifters claim.

The holy rolling grifters at the fundraising site want you to send in more money, since they collect 3% plus $.30 per contribution. For them, murder pays.

I'm not religious, in fact I'm rather skeptical of anyone of faith these days. But I do remember a time when Christians weren't total dicks.

Beach Bum -- Religion has been politicized to the extreme on the right. Falwell Sr. and his "Moral Majority" set the modern day version in motion in the 1970s.

Don't worry. If history is any sign, the jerk will never see a penny of the money. The "Christians" will just keep it all.
