Republicans In Disarray: Kevin McCarthy Edition

With the bombshell tape of House Republican Leader Kevin "Qevin" McCarthy discussing asking the Malignant Loser to resign days after the January 6 insurrection, the far-right sharks in the House Republican caucus smell blood. Rep. Matt "Teen Spirit" Gaetz (Trafficking- FL), a notable shark who feeds on young fish, taunted McCarthy in a tweet,

"While I was rallying in Wyoming against Liz Cheney / Kevin McCarthy was defending Liz Cheney among House Republicans / While Liz Cheney was secretly recording Kevin McCarthy for the New York Times / @GOPLeader - you should have trusted my instincts, not your own"

Given Gaetz's sexual predilections, McCarthy would be nervous about trusting Gaetz's "instincts." He also misidentifies Rep. Liz Cheney as the source of the recording, something that Cheney has denied (the call involved the Republican House leadership, not just Cheney).  As to the other sharks, they're watching McCarthy sweat, hoping that it gives them a shot at the Speakership and a chance to destroy the Republic:

In a separate audio recording of a conference call, McCarthy is also heard to say that he told the Malignant Loser that he bore responsibility for January 6, and that he admitted he did:

“I asked him personally today, does he hold responsibility for what happened? Does he feel bad about what happened? He told me he does have some responsibility for what happened. And he needs to acknowledge that.”  (our emphasis)

The day before, McCarthy expressed his anger at the Malignant Loser, saying to the Republican conference, “I had it with this guy. What he did is unacceptable. Nobody can defend that, and nobody should defend it.”

Better get on that plane to Merde O'Lardo, Qevin. Pack the kneepads and be prepared to wait behind JD "Jackass Dick" Vance for an audience with Dear Leader, who will not be happy that you've "had it with" him.
