Great Moments in Rethug Rhetoric, Cont'd.
“We want the support of anybody that’s going to publicly endorse us, but enough of the pussyfooting around in terms of do you support us or do you not support us.” -- Rump campaign manager / designated poo flinger Kellyanne Conway on ABC's "Good Morning America." Um, you may want to avoid any word that includes "pussy" in it, Ms. Conway. Just a suggestion.

Great Moments in Republican Rhetoric, "Snarly's" Admission
Serial fabricator and icy job killer Carly "Snarly" Fiorina had this to say at a town hall meeting in Oklahoma yesterday:
"Somebody once asked me, 'What's the difference between business and politics?' And here's the difference: Politics is a fact-free zone. People just say things." (emphasis added)It's good that Snarly has publicly acknowledged her campaign strategy. Remember that she and her party believe that Government should only exist to protect and promote corporate interests, and that Government service is not an honorable calling. So in campaigning for a Government position, any fact-free statement -- read lie -- can be used because that's the accepted norm. Very revealing statement, but hardly surprising.

Great Moments In Republican Rhetoric: Limpballs The Misogynist
Here's Oxycontin-popping hate merchant Rush "Limpballs" Limbaugh, disparaging job-killer Carly "Snarly" Fiorina, who sided with Fux's Megyn Kelly in her feud with fellow misogynist gasbag Donald "Rump" Trump:
“Well you know, that’s the solidarity of the vaginas. Wait a second now — vaginas have monologues. We know this; there was a play."Limpballs and Rump. Well you know, that's the solidarity of the assholes.

Great Moments in Republican Rhetoric, Six-Pack Edition
“Donald Trump, he’s got these Joe Six-Pack issues on his mind, and he’s got these Joe Six-Pack common sense solutions — he just happens to be an extremely successful and charismatic, with a very large platform, Joe Six-Pack.” -- snowbilly grifter Sarah "Winky" Palin, coming just shy of endorsing billionaire "six pack" guy Donald "Rump" Trump on the Fux Channel. If he's Joe Six-Pack, we have a bridge to nowhere to sell Winky.
Do you suppose Winky was just thirsty, or was jockeying for a never-gonna-happen cabinet post in a never-gonna-happen Rump administration? Or both?
BONUS: Winky may have been misconstruing George F. "F-ing" Will's latest screed on Rump for the beer reference:
"In every town large enough to have two traffic lights there is a bar at the back of which sits the local Donald Trump, nursing his fifth beer and innumerable delusions."

Great Moments in Republican Rhetoric, Iraq Revisionism Edition
"First of all, the Iraqis want our help. They want to know that we have skin in the game, that we're committed to this." (emphasis added) -- House of Bush legacy candidate John Ellis "J.E.B.!" Bush, responding to an audience member at the Iowa State Fair "soap box" on Friday, who pointed out to J.E.B.! that his brother was the one who negotiated the 2011 troop withdrawal from Iraq.
Here we go again. Someone should coach the "smarter Bush" that whenever he hears the word "Iraq," he should fake temporary deafness and excuse himself from the scene. Then they should point out that, because his brother Dumbya committed the biggest foreign policy blunder in our history after selling the war on cooked up intelligence, we lost thousands of men and women, caused tens of thousands more to be wounded and crippled, and spent up to two trillion dollars on the Bush misadventure. We'd call that "skin in the game," and any Iraqi knows that, having lost hundreds of thousands of their own people.
BONUS: Billionaire vulgarian and the Republican Party's dark id Donald "Rump" Trump noticed J.E.B.!'s "skin in the game" nonsense, too, and called him on it. Popcorn, anyone?

Great Moments In Republican Rhetoric, Cont'd.
"I recognize that folks in the press love to see Republican on Republican violence. You want me to say something bad about Donald Trump or bad about John McCain or bad about anyone else and I'm not going to do it." -- Smarmy sociopath Sen. Ted "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz (Wingnut-Calgary), becoming the only Rethug candidate for 2016 refusing to criticize the remarks made by raging wig-stand Donald "Rump" Trump who refused to call John McCain a "hero" because of his POW status.
If this isn't the clearest sign that Tailgunner Ted believes that Rump's toast and desperately wants to inherit Rump's followers, we don't know what is.

Great Moments In Republican Rhetoric, Cont'd.
“My aspiration for the country and I believe we can achieve it, is 4 percent growth as far as the eye can see. Which means we have to be a lot more productive, workforce participation has to rise from its all-time modern lows. It means that people need to work longer hours.” (emphasis added) -- J.E.B.!, letting his lord-of-the-manor voice out in New Hampshire yesterday.
This, from the loyal brother of the guy who cratered the economy in 2007 - 2008, and who for years has been living off cushy business connections established by the House of Bush. We would hope to see J.E.B.!'s motivational comments in future Dem ads.
UPDATE: J.E.B.! now claims he meant more workers employed full-time rather than part-time. Mmm hmm. Man of the people.

Great Moments in Republican Rhetoric, Cont'd.
In an interview with CNN's Don Lemon, Donald "Rump" Trump, the true voice of the Republican base's bigoted id, was misrepresenting accounts of rape occurring to female immigrants in their journey to the U.S., falsely implying that rapists were crossing the border. When Lemon pointed that the story Rump referred to was about the incidence of women being raped and not about rapists crossing the border, Rump's comeback was:
“Somebody’s doing the raping! You can’t say ‘it’s just women being raped.’Who’s doing the raping? Who’s doing the raping?”Which, in turn, gave The Daily Show's Jon Stewart an idea for Rump's new campaign slogan:

Great Moments In Republican Rhetoric, Cont'd.
We've had some fun with batchelor neocon warrior Sen. Lindsey "Huckleberry Butchmeup*" Graham's statement that he'd have a "rotating First Lady" if elected. But it took fellow Rethug Sen. Mark "Jerk" Kirk (Gone in '16 - IL) to take it to a misogynistic level:
“Did you see that? He’s [Graham's] going to have a rotating first lady. He’s a bro with no ho." (emphasis added)Bro Jerk is running for reelection against wounded Iraq war veteran Rep. Tammy Duckworth in 2016, so we hope to hear from Jerk on women's issues, almost as much as we hope Rep. Duckworth kicks his ass.

Great Moments In Republican Rhetoric
First, from the Beltway media's annointed foreign policy expert Sen. Marco "Glug Glug" Rubio yesterday:
"It’s not nation-building. We are assisting them (Iraq) in building their nation."Brilliant formulation, sir. That should quiet those that say you're not ready for prime time.
Then there's this from overcompensating war hawk Sen. Lindsey "Huckleberry Butchmeup*" Graham, when reminded by Fux & Friends' idiot hack Steve Doocy that war is unpopular with the American public:
"Then don't vote for me. Because I'm telling you what's coming."We can see his campaign slogan now: "War's coming. And Graham's Bringing It!" That's a winner!
_____________
* Esquire's Charles P. Pierce's indelible moniker for Graham.
