Tracking Down The Seditionists: Bumble Bumbler

Apologies for beginning your day with a pic of this candidate for The Missing Link, but another insurrectionist has been caught, thanks to his bumble-ing:

One week after the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, Robert Chapman sent a message to a prospective love interest on the dating app Bumble to brag that he had taken part.

“I did storm the capitol,” he said, according to court documents. “I made it all the way to Statuary Hall.”

His potential date wrote back: “We are not a match.” Then, the Bumble user contacted the police.

Thanks to the tip, Chapman was arrested by the FBI on Thursday and charged with trespassing at the U.S. Capitol and disrupting official government operations by allegedly participating in the deadly riot. Chapman had also bragged on Facebook about being in the insurrection, the FBI said — and even changed his profile picture to a selfie in the riot.  [snip]

The Bumble user, who isn’t identified in court documents, shared a screenshot of Chapman’s messages with law enforcement officials on Jan. 13. A criminal complaint included images of the chat, in which Chapman also bragged about talking to national reporters about joining the mob.

When the Bumble user rejected Chapman and told him they were “not a match,” he replied: “I suppose not.”

After getting the tip, the FBI agent reviewed body camera footage recorded by D.C. police on Jan. 6. The video showed Chapman standing inside Statuary Hall using his cellphone camera to record the crowd, according to court records.

Screenshots of the video filed as evidence show Chapman, with distinctive thick sideburns and wearing a black-and-white bandanna across his brow, surrounded by other protesters inside the Capitol.

It's hard to imagine how any woman could resist the muttonchops on that muttonhead.

The felonious nitwits still on the loose need to be charged, tried and sentenced.  Even if you don't run in these low- IQAnon circles (and we know you don't), there's possibly a slim chance you've seen one of them out and about.  Please check the FBI's U.S. Capitol Violence web site to see photos and videos of their most wanted.

Tracking Down The Insurrectionists: More "Proud Boys" Cuffed

Two more Proud Boys incel man- babies are under arrest:

F.B.I. agents have arrested two organizers for the Proud Boys in Philadelphia and North Carolina, and prosecutors filed new charges against two other prominent members of the far-right group in Florida and Washington State as federal authorities continued their crackdown on its leadership ranks, three law enforcement officials said on Wednesday.

With the new conspiracy indictment, prosecutors have now brought charges against a total of 13 people identified in court papers as members of the Proud Boys. Federal investigators have described the group, which appeared in force in Washington on Jan. 6, as one of the chief instigators of the riot at the Capitol that left five people dead, including a Capitol Police officer.

In the indictment, prosecutors accused Charles Donohoe, a Proud Boys leader from North Carolina, and Zach Rehl, the president of the group’s chapter in Philadelphia, of conspiring to interfere with law enforcement officers at the Capitol and obstruct the certification of President Biden’s electoral victory. Two other high-ranking Proud Boys who were already facing similar charges — Ethan Nordean of Auburn, Wash., and Joseph Biggs of Ormond Beach, Fla. — were also implicated as part of the conspiracy.

The wheels of justice...

Tracking Down The Insurrectionists: Proud Boy Busted

The residents of Stanhope Circle in Collier County, Florida, were awakened in the early morning yesterday by armored vehicles carrying FBI and SWAT team members in military gear who broke down the door of domestic terrorist "Proud Boy" Christopher J. Worrell.  Worrell, who participated in the January 6 seditionist coup at the Capitol, was arrested on various charges related to the riot.

As with many of the loyal StormTrumpers that day, Worrell has had run-ins with law enforcement. In June 2009, Worrell was arrested on felony charges of impersonating a police officer:

"Collier sheriff's deputies arrested a 37-year-old man for impersonating a police officer after he harassed a 23-year-old driver by following her, flashing a badge and yelling at her on Monday night.

Christopher J. Worrell had a loaded handgun, handcuffs, knives, boxes of ammunition, and a fake badge in his possession when deputies arrested him, according to Collier County sheriff's reports."  (our emphasis)

As a Proud Boy, it's possible that Worrell will face conspiracy charges in the January insurrection. FBI agents removed duffel bags of evidence (and probably weapons) from his home yesterday during the raid. He needs to be behind bars for a very long time.
